80/35 Mixmaster Poster

As a music lover and avid collector of concert posters, I was honored to be one of ten artists around Des Moines chosen to create anniversary posters for the 80/35 music festival. The act that I chose to create the poster for was the legendary Flaming Lips, which was on also the first year that the festival had taken place. Frozen treats were the theme for that first year, which is what inspired me to replace some of the landmark buildings of downtown Des Moines with popsicles.
